Salary: USD 191,000 - 253,000 / annual

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology. The Anduril Intelligence Systems (AIS) division focuses on specialized engineering and products for Intelligence Community customers, delivering critical capabilities for national security requirements. You will join a rapidly growing team as a Senior Software Engineer focused on functional testing and validation of advanced networking devices and systems. Your core responsibilities include conducting comprehensive functional testing and validation of cutting-edge networking technology, designing and implementing critical test cases and strategies for high-impact programs, and developing custom software, utilities, scripts, and automation frameworks to exercise and validate designs under test. You will lead rigorous root cause analysis for test failures, collaborating closely with engineering teams to diagnose issues, propose solutions, and drive implementation of corrective actions. Required qualifications include demonstrated proficiency in Python programming, comprehensive understanding of standard software testing principles and methodologies, strong understanding of core networking principles and basic IP networking protocols, and experience with test automation frameworks and instrument control (OpenHTF, Selenium, Playwright). You must be familiar with automated testing frameworks such as Pytest, have proven ability to interpret complex requirements and translate them into robust test cases and strategies, possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and currently hold an active secret security clearance (minimum). Preferred qualifications include experience performing Hardware-In-The-Loop (HITL) testing of networking devices, proficiency with network analysis tools such as Wireshark, experience working with embedded systems or devices, experience testing designs for high-volume production, and experience validating designs intended for harsh or deployed environments (ruggedized, airborne, or space).
