Salary: EUR 54,000 - 68,000 / annual

In this role, you will report to the Manager of Engineering and own the design, build, and operation of identity and account services—authentication, authorization, and user/team directory—that every other Sysdig engineering team depends on. You will build scalable, highly available, distributed, and performant platform services used by multiple engineering teams across the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and build distributed, highly available platform services
- Build and maintain cross-product capabilities including automations, analytics systems, and ticketing integrations
- Own and evolve the onboarding experience for connecting cloud provider accounts (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI), collaborating closely with Product, Frontend, Design, and QE teams
- Participate in an on-call rotation to address urgent issues

REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer designing and shipping distributed, highly available services
- Strong proficiency in Go or Java
- Hands-on experience with Postgres or another relational database
- Experience with messaging systems such as NATS
- Experience with AI coding agents (Claude or others) and a proactive approach to leveraging them to improve workflows
- Ability to move between high-priority projects and tasks in a distributed, remote-first team
- Experience with SaaS applications and delivering large software projects end-to-end
- Familiarity with Single Sign-On (SSO) integration is a plus
