Replit is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build the technical foundation for Growth Enablement—a new area focused on connecting product experience to customer acquisition and retention. This is a founding engineer role that will set technical direction for agentic growth systems.
You will design and build systems that monitor growth performance, diagnose problems, run experiments, and learn from results. The work spans multiple domains: acquisition measurement across web and mobile (click-ID capture, identity matching, server-side conversion APIs, warehouse attribution), deep linking and context transfer across platforms (web, iOS, Android, app stores), and reusable infrastructure for promotions, referrals, landing pages, fraud controls, and holdout measurement.
Key responsibilities include building audience pipelines that sync warehouse-defined cohorts to delivery channels, exploring AI-native approaches to campaign operations and measurement, and working directly with marketing, sales, and partnerships teams to translate business needs into shipped technical systems.
Required: 4+ years of professional software engineering with strong backend expertise (TypeScript/Node, Python, Go, or similar); strong SQL and data warehouse experience; hands-on work with attribution, martech, deep linking, payment webhooks, or event pipelines; proven ability to partner with non-engineering stakeholders.
Preferred: growth or martech infrastructure experience at consumer or PLG companies; experience building agents that act on business data with proper controls; familiarity with experimentation platforms (Statsig) and lifecycle tools (Iterable); privacy and consent handling in marketing pipelines.
Bonus: mobile attribution experience (OneLink, Universal Links, App Links, SKAN); payment system attribution (Stripe, Razorpay); regular use of AI agents in your own development workflow.
