You will design and implement a robust, scalable microservices-based system that processes high volumes of clinical data while supporting integrations with diverse healthcare providers using different data formats. This is a time-critical backend role spanning design through implementation of complex distributed systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Architecting and building microservices that handle high-volume data processing
- Owning your team's domain to ensure code quality, performance, and scalability
- Collaborating with algorithm, data, and product teams to deliver production-grade solutions
- Working independently and as part of a team as needed
- Proactively suggesting new ideas and technical initiatives
Tech stack: AWS, Python, S3, RabbitMQ, Temporal, OpenSearch, DynamoDB, Postgres, Docker, Redis, Prometheus, and emerging technologies as appropriate.
Requirements: 5+ years backend development experience, strong microservices and distributed systems expertise, experience with backend pipelines and messaging queues, cloud environment proficiency, B.Sc. or higher in Computer Science or related field. Healthcare tech, EHR, and HL7 experience is a significant advantage.
You should be a team player with strong execution mentality, self-starter, naturally motivated, and passionate about healthcare impact. The Tel Aviv office is located at Menachem Begin 150, within walking distance of Arlozorov and Ha'Shalom train stations.
