Salary: CAD 150,000 - 200,000 / annual
PocketHealth is building Conductor, an agentic AI automation platform designed to reduce administrative burden in healthcare and free resources for patient care. As a Senior Software Engineer on the Conductor team, you will own end-to-end deployments for healthcare provider clients, serving as the primary technical point of contact from contract signature through go-live and beyond.
Your responsibilities span the full stack: writing production code in Python and TypeScript, building custom integrations against healthcare systems (HL7 v2, FHIR, DICOM, RIS/PACS, EMR webhooks), extending agentic workflows in Conductor's orchestration engine, and standing up reliable infrastructure in real provider environments. You'll also accelerate the sales cycle by running technical demos, prototyping automations against prospect workflows, and leading workflow mapping sessions that build confidence in the platform.
This role is technically demanding and deeply client-facing. You'll diagnose and resolve production issues quickly using logs and system telemetry, translate client friction into structured product feedback, and contribute to integration libraries and deployment runbooks that strengthen the platform for future deployments. You report directly to the Co-Founder & CTO.
You bring 5–8 years of software engineering experience, with meaningful time in forward-deployed, solutions engineering, or embedded client-facing roles. You have a track record of shipping production code in client environments. You're proficient in Python and/or TypeScript, comfortable with full-stack ownership (backend services, APIs, data pipelines, integrations), and experienced with AWS (ECS, Lambda, API Gateway). Experience with workflow orchestration engines (Step Functions, Cadence, Temporal, Prefect) is a strong plus. You're comfortable working across healthcare data standards and third-party API integrations.
