Salary: USD 128,900 - 219,100 / annual
ServiceNow is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to build enterprise-grade systems that integrate AI/ML concepts into large-scale conversational platforms. You will design and implement highly interactive, scalable applications that support rich conversational experiences blended with artificial intelligence.
In this role, you will:
- Build highly interactive applications that scale with application complexity
- Create tools, libraries, and frameworks for other developers to build upon
- Apply AI/ML innovation to improve platform functionality
- Write high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable code following best practices in software architecture, code reviews, and unit testing
- Collaborate with product owners to understand requirements and own code from design to delivery
- Design software that is simple to use, allowing customers to extend and customize functionality
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while enhancing the existing product suite
- Mentor colleagues and promote knowledge-sharing across the team
You should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 5+ years of software industry experience. Required expertise includes:
- Backend technologies: Java, JUnit, REST, JSON, and AI/ML concepts
- Relational databases, SQL, and frameworks like Spring and Hibernate
- Frontend technologies: solid JavaScript experience, Python, and AI/ML concepts
- Experience designing and implementing high-volume, highly interactive applications
- ML/Natural Language systems and Large Language Models, including conversational AI and NLP applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
