Imprint is a fintech company that modernizes co-branded credit card programs for major brands like Crate & Barrel, Rakuten, Booking.com, H-E-B, Fetch, and Shell. The company combines payments infrastructure, intelligent underwriting, and customer data to create personalized financial experiences without requiring partners to become banks. Backed by top-tier VCs including Kleiner Perkins, Thrive Capital, Ribbit, and Khosla Ventures, Imprint is addressing a $300 billion market dominated by legacy systems.
As Senior Social Media Manager, you will build and own Imprint's social media presence from the ground up. This is a senior individual contributor role with clear accountability for social strategy, content, and execution across B2B and brand channels. You will serve as Imprint's voice on social, developing the company's point of view, content strategy, and measurement framework to position Imprint as a credible, compelling brand in the fintech space.
The role blends creative storytelling with strategic ownership of channel health, crisis response, and cross-functional collaboration with brand, marketing, member operations, and legal teams.
In your first 90 days, you will establish a social listening and monitoring platform (such as Sprout Social), develop Imprint's social voice and content strategy in partnership with Communications, Brand, Product Marketing, and company leadership, deliver an execution plan with content cadence and major moments strategy, create a formal playbook for managing consumer complaints and social voice issues, and establish yourself as a high-judgment, self-directed partner.
Key responsibilities include owning Imprint's social media presence end-to-end with accountability for strategy, content, channel health, and performance (starting with LinkedIn and X); developing and executing content strategy aligned with brand voice and target audiences; building and maintaining social listening infrastructure to surface insights, trends, and risks in real time; creating a formal playbook for consumer complaint and social voice management with member operations and legal; defining and owning metrics and measurement frameworks; partnering with Communications, Brand, and Product Marketing leadership to align social content with brand positioning and campaigns; and mining content opportunities across the business to identify stories and cultural moments worth owning.
REQUIREMENTS:

- Experience owning social metrics and translating performance data into clear, actionable narratives for leadership

- Familiarity with social listening and management platforms such as Sprout Social or equivalent
- Background in B2B companies with a strong consumer lens, or large communications/PR agencies with demonstrated breadth across industries, metrics, and crisis management
Nice to Have:
- Experience at companies navigating regulatory, crisis, or consumer complaint communications (fintech, payments, marketplace, or similarly complex environments)
- Experience developing crisis communications playbooks in collaboration with legal and operations stakeholders
