Replicant is an AI-native platform that powers enterprise contact centers with AI agents handling millions of calls monthly for Fortune 500 companies. The SRE team owns platform and harness engineering, site reliability, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, developer experience, observability, incident management, and cloud cost optimization. This Senior SRE role focuses on systems and patterns-level work to enable teams and shape the future of platform engineering.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing to patterns, design, and implementation across platform engineering domains
- Building systems that reduce toil and maintain production infrastructure availability under large-scale, real-time conversational AI traffic
- Extending the agent harness (CI, sandboxes, guardrails, validation) to scale adoption across the dev team
- Owning and improving CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling, including build/test performance and deployment ergonomics
- Participating in on-call rotation and incident management (non-business-hours pages are rare)
Required experience includes 6+ years in software development enablement, end-to-end CI/CD platform ownership, proficiency with Node/TypeScript, Python, and Terraform, Kubernetes/Helm ecosystem knowledge, and practical observability expertise (logs, metrics, tracing, monitoring, alerting, incident management). The role values effective use of AI tools like Claude and Cursor paired with defensible opinions on when to avoid them.
Bonus qualifications include harness engineering experience, production-at-scale GCP experience, and telephony/SIP architecture knowledge (FreeSWITCH). The stack is TypeScript/Node and Python on Kubernetes, primarily GCP (multi-cloud), with GitLab CI, Helm, Terraform, Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana.
