Oura is seeking a Senior SEC Reporting Accountant to join its Financial Reporting team as the company prepares for public company readiness. This is a senior individual contributor role (no direct reports) reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager. You will be responsible for preparing Form 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K financial statements, footnotes, and supporting schedules, including tie-outs and support binders. You'll prepare information for both external and internal reporting purposes, help build out the external reporting calendar, templates, and supporting documentation, and support the company's SOX initiative, particularly the design, documentation, and implementation of internal controls over financial reporting. Key responsibilities include owning the PBC (provided by client) rollforward and end-to-end PBC management—building and maintaining the request list, chasing down supporting documentation, and keeping status visible to the team and external auditors. You'll partner cross-functionally to source disclosure inputs and improve reporting processes, systems, and documentation as the company scales, and participate in ad hoc analyses and special projects. Requirements: Active CPA license (required); 4+ years of progressive accounting experience including public accounting (Big 4 or national firm audit) and preferably in-house SEC reporting at a publicly traded company; strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles; hands-on experience preparing SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K) including footnote drafting, tie-out, and XBRL tagging in Workiva; working knowledge of NetSuite or comparable ERP; familiarity with SOX and internal controls over financial reporting; exceptional organizational skills and ability to juggle competing close and filing deadlines; strong communication skills and ability to work independently and cross-functionally. Oura is a health-tech company that makes the award-winning Oura Ring, helping millions of people understand and improve their health through daily insights on readiness, activity, and sleep quality.
