Nutanix is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join its BizApps Salesforce Delivery team in Bengaluru. This hybrid role (3 days/week in-office) offers the opportunity to design and develop innovative solutions on the Force.com platform, directly impacting critical business functions.
You will be part of a 43-person team across multiple geographies that values collaboration, knowledge sharing, and transparent communication in a flat hierarchy. The role combines technical depth with cross-functional impact, requiring you to architect and implement Salesforce solutions while mentoring peers through code reviews and technical discussions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and develop custom solutions on Force.com platform
- Participate in technical design discussions and document solutions
- Develop, test, and integrate custom applications with web services (REST/SOAP APIs)
- Analyze and resolve application and system problems
- Provide technical support for Salesforce-related issues
- Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to design patterns
- Evaluate software packages and make build vs. buy recommendations
- Configure and administer the Salesforce platform
Required qualifications:
- 6+ years of Salesforce Application Development experience
- Strong technical and functional proficiency in Salesforce administration
- Expertise in Apex (Triggers, Classes, Controllers, VF Pages)
- Hands-on experience with Lightning Components, Aura, and Communities
- Proven ability to integrate web services and develop REST/SOAP APIs
- Strong software architecture, design, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent unit testing abilities and attention to detail
- Understanding of Force.com development best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Preferred qualifications:
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ
- Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD processes, and version control systems (GitHub)
