Veeam Software, the Data and AI Trust Company, is seeking a Senior Sales Systems Engineer to support enterprise and large commercial customers in Turkey and the broader region. This role bridges technical expertise and sales, working closely with Account Managers to evangelize Veeam's data resilience and data security posture management solutions.
You will work primarily with Enterprise and large Commercial customers (both public and private), providing pre-sales technical support, conducting web-based and on-site product demonstrations, and delivering Proof-of-Concept (POC) and Proof-of-Value (POV) engagements. You'll act as a trusted technical advisor, ensuring customers have the best experience with Veeam solutions by supporting correct design, implementation, and adherence to best practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with sales teams to secure and grow business with mid-to-large customers in Enterprise and Commercial segments
- Providing pre-sales support and on-site installation assistance during customer evaluations
- Working closely with Veeam's value-added partners (Cloud and Hosting providers) for training, enablement, joint meetings, and relationship building
- Coordinating presales efforts with Solution Architects, System Integrators, and Professional Services teams
- Participating in and evangelizing Veeam messaging at marketing events (webinars, conferences, trade shows)
- Presenting to groups both remotely and in person
- Supporting customer decisions on future business strategy and ensuring total customer experience on assigned accounts
You will be expected to travel throughout Turkey and occasionally abroad as needed.
Requirements:
- Fluent in Turkish and English (written and verbal)
- Ability to drive business conversations with C-level stakeholders of enterprise customers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable presenting to groups, both remotely and in person
- Prior expertise in IT infrastructure topics including virtualization, storage, networking, backup/disaster recovery, and monitoring
- Knowledge of microservices and cloud-native application concepts (containerization, orchestration, Kubernetes)
- Experience with hyperscalers (Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and ability to position and engage discussions around cloud technologies
- Experience using social media to promote and grow the Veeam community
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Willingness to travel throughout Turkey and occasionally abroad
- Must be permanently located in Turkey (Veeam reserves the right to decline applications from those permanently located outside Turkey)
