The Stepstone Group is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to join their Business Consulting Team in Düsseldorf. In this role, you will serve as the operational backbone of the enterprise sales division, acting as the central interface between sales, internal departments, and company systems.
Key responsibilities include actively supporting the enterprise sales team with day-to-day operations and administrative processes. You will create, process, and manage quotes, enter and track orders in Salesforce, and handle operational matters such as complaints, payment deferrals, cancellations, and other sales-related issues. You'll manage sales-relevant mailboxes, coordinate stakeholder communications, and ensure smooth processing of incoming inquiries.
You will maintain customer and order data, perform back-office and administrative tasks, and contribute to the continuous improvement and optimization of team processes and workflows. Your role bridges sales efficiency and internal operations, requiring strong coordination skills across multiple concurrent priorities.
Required qualifications include a completed commercial apprenticeship or equivalent qualification, with at least three years of relevant experience in customer service, sales support, or comparable environments. You must demonstrate strong communication skills, reliability, and enthusiasm for cross-functional collaboration. High customer orientation, sales-minded thinking, and structured work habits are essential. You should have strong MS Office proficiency and familiarity with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce. A proactive mindset toward process improvement is valued.
