As a Senior Sales Engineer based in Melbourne, you will drive new customer opportunities and lead technical integration of Cohesity's world-class products into enterprise environments. Your responsibilities include uncovering and qualifying new business by providing sales and technical assistance, articulating Cohesity technology to both business and technical stakeholders, and enabling seamless product integration into production environments.
You will develop and lead secondary storage technology strategy for the company's largest customers and partners, positioning Cohesity as the primary solution provider. This includes delivering engaging product demonstrations, workshops, white papers, and proposals tailored to customer needs. You'll craft proof-of-concepts to showcase product value and capabilities, collaborate with product management as a field representative to convey customer requirements, and provide project management and post-sales technical support throughout the customer lifecycle.
The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience selling and implementing enterprise hardware/software, cloud platforms (IaaS, PaaS), or virtual infrastructure solutions. You should be comfortable engaging with multiple decision-makers, possess exceptional presentation skills, and communicate technical and business concepts effectively to groups of all sizes. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are essential. You'll work autonomously in a remote-capable role with willingness to travel as needed. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience) is required. Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and streamline workflows is valued.
