Salary: USD 154,875 - 221,250 / annual
Zscaler is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join the Majors West team. This remote role reports to the Manager of Sales Engineering and is part of Zscaler's global Sales and Go-to-Market organization. Zscaler (NASDAQ: ZS) is the world's largest in-line cloud security platform, protecting thousands of customers through its Zero Trust Exchange platform distributed across 200+ global data centers.
In this role, you will create and deliver technical product presentations to prospective customers, gather technical requirements to ensure proposed solutions meet customer goals, lead product evaluations and custom configurations, and design evaluation test plans with customers to guide successful outcomes. You will work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Sales Enablement, Solution Architects, and other teams to demonstrate the power of Zscaler's cloud transformation.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Network Systems integrator
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent working experience
- Proven cybersecurity and networking technical background with hands-on experience in network fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPN, and firewalls
- Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools, with proven history of integrating new technologies to enhance workflows and augment problem-solving
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Industry standard certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, Network+, CCNP, CCIE, or Security+
- Strong AI fluency leveraging coding assistants, LLMs, and Generative AI tools to accelerate troubleshooting, solution design, automation, and customer problem-solving, with sound technical judgment to validate outputs
