The Senior Sales Engineer will be the technical bridge between prospects, clients, and the Horizon3 team. You'll demonstrate deep expertise in cybersecurity products and services, helping sales teams and customers understand true value and capabilities.
Key responsibilities include: conducting technical discovery meetings to understand customer cybersecurity needs and infrastructure; delivering tailored live product demonstrations and proof-of-concept engagements; collaborating with sales and product teams to design solutions aligned with customer requirements; training the sales organization on technical product aspects; relaying field feedback to product and engineering teams; assisting with RFP/RFI technical responses; and occasionally supporting post-sales implementation.
You'll need a bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, cybersecurity, or related field (advanced degree a plus); 5+ years as a Sales Engineer, ideally in cybersecurity; strong understanding of cyber threats, risk management, and security solutions; excellent communication skills in both German (business level) and English; and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences. The role requires up to 50% travel within the DACH region.
