As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will drive new customer opportunities and integrate Cohesity's world-class products into enterprise environments. You'll uncover customer needs and provide both sales and technical assistance, articulating complex technology to business and technical stakeholders. Key responsibilities include enabling seamless product integration into production environments, developing secondary storage technology strategies for major customers and partners, and establishing Cohesity as the primary solution provider.
You'll deliver engaging product demonstrations, workshops, white papers, and proposals that communicate Cohesity's vision. You'll craft proof-of-concepts to showcase product value and capabilities, collaborate with product management as a field representative to convey customer requirements, and provide project management and post-sales technical support throughout the customer lifecycle.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years in a similar sales engineering role with demonstrated success selling and implementing enterprise hardware, software, cloud platforms (IaaS/PaaS), or virtual infrastructure solutions. You're comfortable engaging multiple decision-makers, have exceptional presentation skills, and can communicate technical and business concepts clearly to diverse audiences. You're self-motivated, capable of working autonomously in a remote environment, and willing to travel as needed. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience) is required.
