Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations Cloud, a platform enabling organizations to harness IoT data for actionable insights across physical operations including agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing.
The Senior Salesforce Developer will design and develop flexible, scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform, working with technical and cross-functional teams to implement enhancements, resolve incidents, and drive business solutions. This role requires deep understanding of Salesforce and Sales Cloud design and development best practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and develop secure, scalable technical solutions on Salesforce platforms
- Analyze business processes and system implementations to identify inefficiencies and critical metrics
- Evaluate existing code, develop plans to reduce technical debt, and establish technology roadmaps with system architects
- Maintain and optimize full lifecycle software development using standard configuration, Apex, VisualForce, LWC, APIs, and Force.com applications
- Mentor, develop, and train junior developers
- Champion Samsara's cultural principles as the company scales globally
You will develop tools to help scale revenue-generating operations and increase sales efficiency, working across Sales, Customer Success, Product, Growth, Marketing, and Finance teams.
Minimum qualifications: 7+ years of Salesforce development experience with extensive knowledge of Sales Cloud, Apex, VisualForce, LWC, and Force.com tools; self-starter with Agile methodology experience; excellent communication and problem-solving skills; experience designing test plans and writing test classes; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days per week in the Bengaluru office. Relocation assistance is not provided.
