Salary: USD 129,000 - 171,000 / annual

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Senior Robotics Integration Specialist to join the Manufacturing Technology Team. This role focuses on integrating robotic welding systems to drive efficient, rapid, and on-time production of cutting-edge maritime defense vehicles. You will work with the team responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing materials, technologies, and processes for deployable vehicles and scaling these products across new manufacturing facilities. Key responsibilities include automating and integrating industry-leading robotic applications with manufacturing solutions for new welding processes, supporting product and factory development while maintaining digital thread and lean manufacturing principles. You will create cost- and schedule-effective solutions for factory production systems, support design, construction, commissioning, and start-up of production systems at new factory sites, and provide technical feedback on product processes, materials, and technologies. You will work hands-on to expedite project completion, collaborate across product design, manufacturing engineering, operations, facilities, construction, environmental safety & health, and finance teams to deliver creative production system solutions. The role requires buying down risk to meet production performance and timelines in new facilities. Required qualifications include 10+ years of experience setting up, integrating, and troubleshooting automated robotic systems for process technology development, manufacturing engineering, or production/process engineering. You must have technology development experience in robotics, automation, end effector design, and process improvement, with the ability to work hands-on in manufacturing environments. U.S. Person status is required due to access to U.S. export-controlled information and facilities. Preferred qualifications include prior work with engineering partners and contractors on automated production systems, process improvement experience with ROI justification, application of lean manufacturing and linear flow principles, and metallurgical, welding, automation, and materials development experience across fabrication, assembly, integration, test, and finishing operations.
