Polymarket is the world's largest prediction market platform, enabling users to trade on real-world outcomes across politics, economics, sports, and current affairs. The company processed $21B in trading volume in 2025 and is building a U.S. regulated exchange. The Senior Risk Analyst will build and lead the risk management function for the U.S. Exchange business from the ground up. This is a foundational role that directly shapes governance infrastructure, regulatory compliance, and operational risk posture as Polymarket enters regulated territory. Key responsibilities include: - Designing and maintaining the risk governance framework, including risk assessments, tolerance thresholds, incident tracking, and reporting cadences - Drafting and owning risk policies, procedures, and the risk register as the business scales - Partnering with trading, product, legal, and operations teams to identify and resolve risk issues in real time - Running ongoing assessments against the Enterprise Risk Management framework and flagging gaps - Holding business stakeholders accountable to risk processes and maintaining clear ownership of risk decisions - Translating complex risk concepts into actionable guidance for fast-moving business leaders - Monitoring regulatory and market developments relevant to U.S. exchange operations The role requires 7+ years in risk management, compliance, or audit within capital markets, with direct front office or middle office trading experience (equities and/or derivatives). Ideal candidates have built risk frameworks from scratch in regulated organizations, worked alongside trading leaders to solve practical risk problems, and can drive cross-functional decisions through expertise and clear communication rather than formal authority. Experience at a broker-dealer, futures commission merchant, regulated exchange, or high-growth fintech is a plus, as is familiarity with CFTC or SEC regulatory frameworks.
