Snowflake is seeking a Senior Revenue Analyst to join the Revenue Operations team. This role sits at the intersection of accounting, operations, and business process improvement, supporting the full order-to-cash cycle and revenue close processes.
Key responsibilities include reviewing sales contracts and outcomes in automated systems, executing month-end close activities with journal entry preparation and revenue reconciliations, and designing efficient revenue accounting processes in partnership with cross-functional teams (Professional Services, Deal Desk, FP&A). You will prepare and maintain SOX 404 internal controls documentation, assist with external quarterly reviews and annual audits, and drive automation and process improvement initiatives for new products and monthly/quarterly revenue closes.
The ideal candidate brings 4+ years of revenue recognition experience, ideally with Big 4 audit background. ASC 606 technical expertise and SOX control execution experience are highly valued. You should be comfortable with financial systems, SaaS accounting practices, and revenue automation platforms (RevPro, RightRev). Workday experience is a plus. A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required; CPA certification is preferred but not required.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong Excel skills, independent judgment, and the ability to communicate complex technical accounting concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
