AlertMedia is a Risk Intelligence and Response platform that helps organizations detect emerging threats, assess impact, and respond with confidence. The company is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to join the Finance & Accounting team, reporting to the Corporate Controller.
This is a senior individual contributor role serving as the technical accounting expert for revenue recognition and the primary accounting partner to Sales, Deal Desk, RevOps, Legal, Billing Operations, and Finance. You will own the monthly revenue close process, ASC 606 technical accounting, NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM), deferred revenue accounting, SSP methodology, and revenue-related financial reporting.
Key responsibilities include partnering closely with Deal Desk and Sales before contracts are finalized to help structure customer agreements that achieve both commercial objectives and clean, scalable accounting outcomes. You will complement the Billing Operations team by owning the accounting behind the revenue cycle while they handle execution, customer billing, and collections.
Success is measured by accurate and timely revenue reporting, audit readiness, scalable revenue accounting processes, and the ability to proactively partner with the business to solve complex commercial and accounting challenges.
You are a technically strong accounting professional who enjoys working at the intersection of accounting and business. You are equally comfortable researching ASC 606 guidance, reviewing complex customer contracts, performing detailed revenue analysis, and partnering with Deal Desk, Sales, and Legal to structure scalable commercial agreements. You are analytical, detail-oriented, and naturally curious—rather than simply identifying accounting issues, you work collaboratively to find practical solutions that support both the customer and the business while maintaining compliance. You enjoy improving processes, reducing manual work, and leveraging technology to build scalable revenue accounting operations.
