Precision for Medicine is seeking a Senior Research Scientist specializing in evidence synthesis to join a well-funded, globally-operating organization with a startup-like culture. This role is 100% remote and available to candidates in Canada or the US. You will collaborate across a sophisticated portfolio of evidence synthesis projects in a multi-level team structure. As a Senior Research Scientist, you will independently complete complex responsibilities while providing mentorship and direction to junior researchers. Key responsibilities include: • Developing client-ready deliverables such as study protocols, statistical analysis plans, technical reports, and presentations • Demonstrating subject matter expertise in pharmaceutical industry requirements, medical affairs, and health technology assessments • Overseeing systematic literature reviews (clinical, economic, and health-related quality of life) and quantitative evidence synthesis studies using methods such as network meta-analysis (NMA), matching-adjusted indirect comparisons (MAIC), and simulated treatment comparisons (STC) • Managing project delivery by collaborating with team members to ensure high-quality outputs, timely delivery, and financial performance • Leading client calls, responding to communications, and serving as an independent researcher for specific studies or components • Creating development plans and mentoring direct reports • Contributing to business development proposals and presentations under guidance of senior methodological experts • Identifying feasibility considerations and communicating these within deliverables The company publishes regularly in peer-reviewed journals on network meta-analysis, comparative effectiveness research, and health technology assessment methodologies. Minimum qualifications: Master's degree in health services research, health economics, public policy, health policy, epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, or related science field. 4–6 years of professional experience required.
