Precision for Medicine is seeking a Senior Research Scientist to lead evidence synthesis projects in health technology assessment. This is a remote role based in the US or Canada within a well-funded, established global organization with a startup-like culture. You will collaborate across a sophisticated portfolio of evidence synthesis projects, taking ownership of complex deliverables including study protocols, statistical analysis plans, and technical reports. Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day client communications, overseeing work completed by junior researchers, and providing mentorship to team members. You will demonstrate subject matter expertise in systematic literature reviews and quantitative evidence synthesis methods (NMA, MAIC, STC), with deep understanding of pharmaceutical industry requirements and health technology assessment submissions. Your core responsibilities span multiple dimensions: developing client-ready deliverables; managing project components to ensure quality outputs and timely delivery; leading client calls and email communications; creating development plans and mentoring direct reports; and contributing to business development proposals and new business concept ideation under guidance of senior methodologists. You will need to identify considerations relevant to evidence synthesis, communicate feasibility assessments and statistical analysis plans, estimate required hours, identify challenges early, and escalate changes with viable solutions. The role requires balancing independent execution of complex work with collaborative oversight of team contributions. Minimum qualifications: Master's degree in health services research, health economics, public policy, health policy, epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, or related science (biology/biochemistry). 4–6 years of professional experience in evidence synthesis, systematic reviews, or related health research domains.
