Coursera (recently merged with Udemy) is seeking a Senior Reporting Analyst to lead enterprise reporting strategy and own the Sigma business intelligence platform. This role is critical to establishing a unified, scalable reporting infrastructure across the organization. You will partner with business leaders to understand how they measure success and develop reporting solutions that help them monitor performance, identify issues, and understand operational drivers behind key metrics. As Coursera's Sigma subject matter expert, you'll be responsible for platform administration, governance, and ongoing development—establishing reporting standards, reusable data models, dashboard design guidelines, security protocols, and development best practices. Key responsibilities include: - Partnering with business leaders to understand organizational goals, business processes, and success metrics across functional areas - Facilitating discussions with business teams to define KPIs and reporting requirements, challenging assumptions and recommending alternative approaches - Developing reporting frameworks that support root cause analysis, enabling users to move from high-level KPIs to underlying operational metrics - Serving as a trusted advisor on reporting strategy, visualization, KPI design, and best practices - Collaborating with data scientists, business stakeholders, and product engineers to define, curate, and govern high-fidelity data - Developing new frameworks such as integrating Sigma with Databricks Unity Catalog or dbt semantic layer - Leading Sigma adoption across the organization by promoting best practices, training business users and report developers, and building self-service reporting capabilities You'll work within the Analytics Engineering organization, which builds robust data pipelines and models that enable data-driven decision-making across analytics, AI, and machine learning initiatives.
