The Legal team at Revolut partners across the business to provide practical, sharp advice that enables fast growth while maintaining compliance and protection. This Senior Regulatory Counsel role focuses on payments and financial products, sitting at the intersection of legal strategy and business execution.
In this role, you will advise the business on compliance and legal issues surrounding the structuring of new and existing financial products in payments and banking. You'll draft customer-facing legal documents, help structure and expand products while managing regulatory expectations and applications, and handle significant complex legal matters with short turnaround times. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution—you'll be expected to excel at both.
You'll need 5+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) with excellent academic and professional credentials. Experience advising on financial regulations and payments products is essential, including card payments, cross-border payments, and emerging payment rails. You should demonstrate sound judgment, composure under pressure, and a collaborative mindset. The ability to make confident decisions with ambiguous or incomplete information, combined with exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, is critical.
