Mercury is a fintech platform providing banking, treasury, and financial workflow solutions for startups and technology companies. The company is seeking a Senior Recruiter to build and scale the go-to-market organization, including Sales, Customer Success, Support, Partnerships, and Business Development teams.
In this role, you will own full-cycle recruiting across the GTM organization, managing searches ranging from high-volume positions like Sales Development Representatives to specialized roles in Customer Success and Partnerships. You will partner closely with GTM leaders and hiring managers to define candidate profiles, run searches end-to-end, and contribute to improving recruiting processes and tools as the team grows.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning full-cycle recruiting (sourcing through close) for Sales, Customer Success, Support, Partnerships, and Business Development
- Running kickoffs and calibration sessions with hiring managers to define strong candidate profiles
- Identifying and engaging candidates through sourcing and inbound channels, using funnel data to optimize effort allocation
- Communicating pipeline health, progress, blockers, and timelines to stakeholders
- Representing Mercury's mission and culture to candidates
- Contributing to recruiting processes, tools, and documentation
- Owning offer strategy and closing negotiations
This is a good fit for someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable owning their work independently. You should enjoy learning a new business quickly and care about delivering a thoughtful candidate experience.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally including GTM roles (sales, customer success, account management) in-house or at an agency
- Strong organization and attention to detail, with ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously, including high-volume and complex/high-priority roles
- Strong sourcing skills and ability to write compelling outreach
- Ability to work with recruiting data (pass-through rates, time to hire) to plan searches and explain trade-offs
- Experience influencing hiring managers and senior leaders with data and clear communication
- Track record of owning searches end-to-end with minimal oversight
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and improving processes when needed
Nice to have:
- Experience recruiting at a fintech, SaaS, or high-growth startup
- Familiarity with Greenhouse, Gem, or similar recruiting tools
