Newsela is seeking a Senior Recruiter focused on Go-to-Market (GTM) hiring to join the People team, reporting to the Manager of Talent Acquisition. This is a strategic role partnering with revenue and growth leadership to scale the GTM organization across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success functions.
Key responsibilities include owning the full recruitment lifecycle for GTM roles—from strategic planning and active sourcing through offer negotiation and closing. You will serve as a strategic talent partner to GTM leaders, understanding revenue goals, aligning on headcount roadmaps, and executing tailored hiring plans. The role emphasizes proactive sourcing of passive revenue talent in the competitive EdTech landscape using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and innovative network outreach.
You will leverage real-time market data, compensation benchmarks, and pipeline analytics to streamline hiring timelines and increase offer acceptance rates. A core focus is delivering a high-touch, memorable candidate experience that showcases Newsela's mission, remote culture, and market impact while building diverse, high-performing teams.
Required qualifications include 5+ years of full-cycle corporate recruiting experience in EdTech or SaaS, with demonstrated success hiring for Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and RevOps roles. You should have a strong understanding of GTM functions and key success metrics, excellent communication and negotiation skills, expert-level project management, and proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools.
Bonus experience includes familiarity with Greenhouse and LinkedIn Recruiter, as well as global hiring in Latin America and the Philippines.
