Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology. The company's Lattice OS is an AI-powered operating system that converts thousands of data streams into real-time, 3D command and control centers. As a Senior Recruiter, you will be a key member of Anduril's talent management team, responsible for supporting rapid company growth through hands-on recruiting execution.
You will work directly with hiring leaders across the Maritime Division, collaborating to define hiring needs and executing on talent strategy. Your role combines strategic partnership with operational execution: you'll source and track high volumes of candidates while maintaining open communication with stakeholders, establish deep trust with business leaders to influence talent strategy, and embed yourself into teams to understand product positioning, technical roadmap, and culture.
Key responsibilities include moving fast with consistent sourcing and candidate tracking processes; building trust through strong operating rhythms with cross-functional stakeholders; developing a deep understanding of the mission and effectively pitching opportunities to close exceptional technical talent; tracking and analyzing pipeline and performance data to identify opportunities and create data-driven narratives; building recruiting strategies that contribute to long-range company growth; acting as a subject matter expert in prospecting techniques, tools, web-scraping, process automation, and candidate management; conducting interviews with high interview-to-offer ratios; engaging passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, Boolean strings, and referral campaigns; and providing consistent, positive candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 8+ years of internal recruiting and sourcing experience for technical roles, with proven ability to close top-tier engineering talent (startup/software experience preferred)
- Experience hiring candidates across all facets of engineering (software, hardware, or both)
- 4+ years of client interaction experience, including working with Hiring Managers and Directors, taking new requirements, reviewing profiles, and updating pipeline progress
- Demonstrated consultative approach where guidance has led to improved outcomes and positive candidate experience, earning respect of peers and clients
- Strong understanding of technical skills and experience required for engineering positions
- Clear and effective communication with candidates to understand motivation, drivers, and organizational fit
- Experience managing various candidate funnels and tracking progress throughout recruitment
- Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS systems
- Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
- Familiarity with a wide variety of sourcing avenues
