Slide Insurance is seeking a Senior Quality Analyst to lead quality assurance efforts across their insurance technology platforms. In this role, you will develop and execute risk-based test strategies for applications, enhancements, integrations, and production fixes. You'll create and maintain comprehensive functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and user acceptance test coverage while analyzing requirements, system behavior, configurations, and defects to identify quality risks and gaps. You will investigate issues, validate fixes, and recommend actions to improve quality and reduce recurring defects. Collaboration is central to the role: you'll partner with Product, Engineering, and business teams to clarify requirements and support defect resolution. You'll support user acceptance testing through scenario development, demonstrations, and business sign-offs, while communicating testing status, risks, and findings to stakeholders. Beyond execution, you'll drive continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to testing processes, metrics, and documentation. You'll support test automation initiatives by identifying opportunities and validating results. The role includes mentoring other Quality Analysts through technical guidance, peer reviews, onboarding assistance, and knowledge sharing. Required qualifications include 4+ years of software quality assurance, software testing, or quality engineering experience, plus a software testing or QA certification. A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Technology, or related field is preferred. You should have strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing practices, defect management, and release processes. Experience with Property & Casualty insurance systems is a plus. You'll need strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, effective cross-functional communication abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
