As the network becomes broader and more complex, Search plays a critical role in helping millions of customers find the right journey quickly, confidently, and intuitively.
As Senior Product Owner in the Demand Division, you will transform Search into a true growth engine for Flix: a product experience that understands customer intent, reduces complexity, improves conversion, and creates valuable demand signals for the business across web, app, and emerging AI-native channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define the north star for Flix Search and own the roadmap through a major product and technical transformation
- Set and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy for Search, grounded in customer needs, business impact, and market opportunity
- Identify and prioritize opportunities across ranking, relevance, comparison, query understanding, personalization, and zero-result recovery
- Use data such as conversion impact, query behavior, and customer feedback to diagnose problems and guide product decisions
- Lead discovery and delivery with cross-functional teams, balancing quick customer-facing improvements with long-term platform and architectural needs
- Align stakeholders around trade-offs, success metrics, and roadmap priorities in an ambiguous and strategically important product area
- Explore how Search can support new surfaces and behaviors, including AI-native discovery and conversational travel planning
- Work closely with engineering, UX, data, commercial, and operational stakeholders to evolve Search from a functional step in the booking funnel into a personalized, intelligent, and scalable discovery experience
Required Experience:
- 8+ years of product management experience, ideally including ownership of a search, discovery, marketplace, recommendation, or other high-intent digital product
- Proven track record of leading meaningful product change in complex environments and connecting product strategy with hands-on execution
- Highly data-informed with ability to turn behavioral, funnel, and query-level insights into clear product direction
- Comfortable partnering with engineering on technical topics such as APIs, ranking, machine learning, performance, and architectural trade-offs
- Strong communicator who can build trust across engineering, UX, data, and business teams and create alignment when priorities compete
