Salary: USD 195,000 - 215,000 / annual

DriveWealth is a global B2B fintech platform democratizing access to financial markets through an API-based infrastructure. The company enables partners to offer seamless investing and trading experiences worldwide, supporting US equities, mutual funds, ETFs, fixed income, and options. You will serve as Senior Product Owner at the center of DriveWealth's capital markets ecosystem, translating complex workflows and business problems into scalable, build-ready product solutions. This is a hands-on role requiring deep capital markets expertise combined with technical fluency and product execution capability. Key Responsibilities: - Own product solutions end-to-end: discovery, analysis, solution design, requirements, delivery, and production readiness for complex trade processing problems - Translate business objectives into detailed functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and data definitions - Analyze end-to-end workflows across trading, transaction processing, positions, cash, settlement, transfers, and operational systems - Perform data analysis using SQL to investigate workflows, validate processing logic, analyze exceptions, and support product decisions - Design integrations with Engineering on APIs, events, data models, and system interfaces - Own and prioritize product backlog; lead refinement sessions to ensure requirements are technically feasible and development-ready - Investigate production and processing issues, identify root causes, and develop scalable solutions - Drive stakeholder alignment across Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, and external partners - Partner with brokers, clearing firms, custodians, vendors, and market participants on integrated capabilities You will work in a hybrid model with an expectation to come into the Chicago office on a cadence set by your hiring manager. The role requires comfort with ambiguous, multi-system, multi-partner environments and the ability to move fluidly between business workflows, data analysis, APIs, detailed requirements, and conversations with engineers and operational stakeholders. Requirements: - 4+ years of experience in capital markets, brokerage, wealth management, or fintech with significant US markets exposure - Strong hands-on knowledge of back-office transaction processing and experience with back-office platforms - Experience within fintech, broker-dealer, bank, clearing firm, custodian, or capital-markets technology provider - Demonstrated ability to understand complex end-to-end workflows spanning multiple systems and translate them into clear product and functional designs - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including ability to investigate complex transaction scenarios and identify root causes - Experience designing or working with REST APIs, event-driven integrations, data models, and service-based architectures - Working knowledge of SQL or equivalent database-querying tools for analysis, reconciliation, and issue investigation - Strong written communication skills with demonstrated ability to produce precise, build-ready functional documentation - Ability to work effectively with Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, and other business teams - Experience working across multiple functional areas such as trading, middle office, back office, operations, settlement, cash, positions, or data Nice-to-Have: Account and securities transfers, clearing and settlement, positions and balances, reconciliations, corporate actions, cost basis/tax lots, equities and options processing, DTC/NSCC/DTCC workflows, custodian or clearing-broker integrations, US equity market processing, fixed income and auctions experience, CAT (Consolidated Audit Trail) familiarity.
