Salary: CAD 145,900 - 197,400 / annual
Jobber is a platform helping small home service businesses (plumbers, electricians, painters, landscapers) quote, schedule, invoice, and get paid. The company is building Teammate, an AI-powered assistant that automates routine work for service providers.
You will own the growth strategy for Teammate, focusing on how the AI product reaches service providers and becomes integral to how they run their business. The role spans two interconnected motions: acquiring new customers who choose Jobber specifically for Teammate, and converting existing Jobber customers into AI-native operators. Rather than relying on marketing campaigns, you'll build product-driven onboarding and activation experiences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing deep understanding of home service businesses and what drives behavioral change
- Owning the complete Teammate growth model: discovery, onboarding, first value, habit, and advocacy
- Driving both net-new acquisition and existing-customer conversion as a unified strategy
- Building and iterating on AI onboarding and activation experiences with real customers
- Defining and tracking metrics that demonstrate whether Teammate is fundamentally changing how service providers operate
- Establishing the business case for Teammate's value and monetization path
- Partnering with Growth, Product Marketing, and Marketing teams
You'll join a fast-moving AI organization where technology, positioning, and scope continue to evolve. The role requires comfort with non-deterministic product behavior and the judgment to design compelling first impressions in an uncertain environment.
Jobber is recognized by Great Place to Work and Canada's Most Admired Corporate Cultures. The company is headquartered in Canada with hub cities in Toronto, Edmonton, Vancouver, and Boston.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of product management experience with demonstrated shipping of real AI products and long-term outcome tracking
- Growth mindset; thrives in change and ambiguity
- Experience owning an AI adoption curve end-to-end (acquisition through activation to retention), not isolated experiments
- Track record of taking AI products from early adopters to mainstream usage within existing customer bases
- Comfort designing products with non-deterministic behavior and uncontrollable first impressions
BONUS:
- Experience in home services, field service, or SMB software
- Background in product-led growth with both self-serve and sales-assisted motions
