Huntress, founded in 2015 by former NSA cyber operators, is a remote-first cybersecurity company making enterprise-grade security accessible to businesses of all sizes. The company operates a 24/7 human-led Security Operations Center (SOC) and now secures 5M+ endpoints and 15M+ identities worldwide.
You will own the internal security experience and tooling for the Huntress SOC—the surface where security analysts work every day. This role focuses on building the delivery engine behind the company's margin thesis: creating repeatable, scalable SOC response services without linear headcount growth. You will own the analyst UX, Rapid Response and Tactical Response tooling, the shared investigation and evidence model (canvas, queues, triage packages), and the interfaces that adjacent product teams (agentic automation, partner-facing products) build upon.
Your users are professional security analysts working down the hall, providing direct, immediate feedback on everything you ship. You will work closely with SOC leadership, the Director of Product Management, engineering leaders, and other product managers to set vision and strategy, own the roadmap, and turn manual out-of-product processes into standardized, automation-first workflows. Key responsibilities include stewardship of the shared investigation model, partnering with analysts to improve tooling, driving the Portal Enhancement Kit, defining and reporting operational metrics (time-to-close, throughput, repeatability), and protecting capacity for resiliency and technical debt.
This is an internal-facing systems role where success is measured in analyst throughput and time-to-close rather than ARR. You will need to make that case clearly to executive stakeholders and translate highly technical information for non-technical audiences.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of product management experience with cybersecurity product responsibility; MDR or SOAR experience is a bonus
- Direct experience working in a SOC and building SOC tools and products
- Demonstrated experience building internal-facing or operator-facing tooling for professional users (not consumers)
- Strong working knowledge of analyst workflows, incident response, and investigation lifecycles
- Excellent UI/UX and design skills
- Prior hands-on experience as a security analyst, incident responder, security engineer, or software engineer (or equivalent depth)
- Experience owning shared services or platform interfaces consumed by other product teams
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering products utilizing AI tools (Claude or similar)
- Comfort with operational metrics and ability to make investment cases not denominated in new revenue
- Experience in agile development environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong creative and critical thinking abilities
- Mid-market and MSP/MSSP experience is a significant benefit
