As Senior Product Manager for Security and Data, you will own the strategy and roadmap for foundational security, data quality, governance, and access capabilities across Motive's platform. You'll work at the intersection of customer needs, technical investment, and business priorities to build trust and scalability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining product strategy and roadmap for security and data capabilities that improve platform resilience, trust, and scalability
- Understanding customer, internal stakeholder, and business needs to identify high-impact opportunities in security, governance, access, and data usability
- Partnering cross-functionally with engineering, design, data, security, legal, and go-to-market teams to translate priorities into clear product requirements and successful launches
- Driving complex initiatives from discovery through delivery, balancing customer value, technical constraints, operational readiness, and long-term platform health
- Acting as a subject matter leader for your product area, aligning stakeholders, informing decision-making, and measuring outcomes
You'll report to a Director of Product and work in a hybrid capacity from the San Francisco office.
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of product management experience, including ownership of technical or platform-oriented products
- Strong experience with security, data, infrastructure, platform, privacy, governance, or other highly technical product domains
- Demonstrated ability to define strategy, prioritize effectively, and execute across multiple complex initiatives with cross-functional dependencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, using qualitative insights and quantitative data for sound product decisions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to build trust and consensus across teams and organizational levels
