Remote is a global HR platform enabling organizations to recruit, pay, and manage international teams compliantly. As Senior Product Manager for Reporting & Insights, you will own the strategy and execution of a multi-surface reporting system serving payroll, finance, HR, compliance, and executive personas.
Your mission is to enable customers and internal teams to answer critical workforce, payroll, finance, and compliance questions with confidence through trusted, well-designed reporting and insights experiences. You will work across Product, Engineering, Design, Data, GTM, Sales, Customer Success, Security, Legal, and Operations to build reporting that is accurate, scalable, easy to use, and ready for AI-assisted workflows.
Key responsibilities include: setting the reporting and insights strategy across in-app report building, dashboards, scheduled delivery, exports, APIs/connectors, embedded partner surfaces, and AI/agent experiences; deeply understanding customer reporting needs across payroll, finance, HR, executive, manager, and operator personas; building trusted reporting foundations including standard reports, configurable report building, GL/journal exports, variance reporting, and reconciliation; and ensuring data accuracy, lineage, and compliance across all reporting surfaces.
You bring senior-level product management experience with a strong focus on reporting, analytics, data platforms, or insights products. Critical requirements include: hands-on proficiency with AI coding tools (Cursor/Claude Code) to autonomously build and ship functional prototypes; strong end-to-end data literacy including SQL, data schemas, lineage, and common pitfalls (double-counting, currency/timezones, effective dating); deep customer empathy and stakeholder management skills; excellent UX sensibilities and communication abilities; and business-level English proficiency. Domain expertise in HR Tech, payroll, finance, or B2B SaaS is a plus.
You report to a Senior Group Product Manager and collaborate daily with cross-functional partners. Remote operates asynchronously across 6 continents with a culture emphasizing innovation, automation, and AI capabilities.
