Okta is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead a 0-to-1 product initiative: building self-service visibility into subscription and license usage within the Admin Console. This is a high-visibility capability that will touch every Okta customer and directly impact customer retention and revenue growth.
You will own the long-term product vision and strategy for subscription usage and licensing visibility, ensuring the Admin Console roadmap scales across Okta's diverse customer base and product portfolio. Key responsibilities include architecting a self-service usage dashboard and reporting framework, collaborating with India-based engineering teams to deliver high-performance infrastructure, distilling complex requirements from Field, Pricing & Packaging, Support, Design, and Product teams into precise technical specifications, and analyzing large-scale subscription data to identify friction points.
You will validate assumptions through rigorous experimentation before major infrastructure investments, track industry trends in usage-based licensing and billing transparency, and serve as the primary subject matter expert on subscription usage capabilities across the organization.
Required: 4–5+ years of Product Management experience in enterprise-scale SaaS platforms or core software infrastructure; BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical background; proven ability to produce actionable plans from ambiguous inputs; exceptional communication and presentation skills; demonstrated business results from customer-facing platform capabilities shipped at scale.
Preferred: experience with subscription/licensing models, usage-based billing, SaaS packaging and monetization; deep familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) protocols; experience partnering with Sales/CSM on customer-facing reporting or renewal tooling; advanced degree in a technical or business field.
This is a global-facing role requiring availability for synchronous meetings between India-based and US-based teams.
