Justworks is a HR and benefits platform helping small businesses manage payroll, benefits, and compliance. The Product Foundations team owns the horizontal infrastructure and experiences that enable the core product to function as a unified system across web, mobile, Slack, and embedded workflows.
As Senior Product Manager for Product Foundations, you will own the roadmap for the Reporting & Analytics (RNA) pod, which stewards how Justworks customers and partners access, query, and act on company data. You'll drive product vision and strategy for how structured data becomes actionable intelligence—whether customers are pulling payroll reports, asking natural language questions, or consuming insights via web, API, or Slack.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own and drive product vision and roadmap for the Reporting and Analytics pod
- Conduct high-quality customer research to ground decisions in real problems
- Partner daily with backend engineers on data modeling, query performance, and API design
- Collaborate with frontend and design teams on information architecture and trustworthiness
- Work with cross-domain PMs (Workforce Pay, Benefits, International, Partnerships) on shared data surfaces
- Scope and prioritize initiatives with research-backed case development
- Drive adoption of shared infrastructure across the organization
- Track relentlessly against goals and metrics
You'll operate independently, manage the complete product development lifecycle, and contribute beyond your immediate scope by defining contracts and boundaries with adjacent teams. The role requires deep understanding of fintech, HR tech, and regulatory complexity, combined with a customer-centric mindset and ability to balance infrastructure needs with user experience.
