Equal Parts is building an operating system for modern insurance agencies, combining acquisitions, in-house operations, and AI systems to scale relationships rather than headcount. As Senior Product Manager for Platform, you'll own a core foundational layer—the systems the entire company depends on. You'll work cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Agencies, and Finance to own the foundation, operational workflows, integrations, and automation that power the platform. Your users are real: agency owners, producers, and service teams who work in the product daily. You'll sit with them to understand their problems firsthand. Key responsibilities include owning problems end-to-end from problem framing through shipped, measured outcomes; setting direction and prioritizing ruthlessly when everything feels urgent; working directly with agency operators to identify problems worth solving; partnering with engineering on data foundations, operational workflows, integrations, and automation systems; driving acquisition integration workstreams including data migrations, reporting standardization, and operational tooling; and instrumenting the platform for AI agents to safely act on trustworthy data. You'll help define the product function itself as much as individual products, taking ambiguous, unowned problem areas and driving them to shipped solutions with minimal hand-holding. The role requires strong product instincts, technical fluency to reason about data models and system design alongside engineers, and genuine comfort with ambiguity in an early-stage environment. Required: 6+ years in product with a track record of owning products end-to-end from discovery through launch and iteration; measurable impact you can articulate; direct user research experience; experience with complex systems; strong prioritization judgment; and technical fluency without prescribing implementation. Nice-to-have experience includes insurance, fintech, or regulated industries; hands-on AI and agentic systems work; data platforms and BI tools; financial systems and revenue operations; data migrations and system implementations; and working directly with founders.
