N26 is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead customer identity verification and KYC (Know Your Customer) initiatives within their Customer Identity group. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, regulatory compliance, and user experience—critical for a digital banking platform serving millions globally.
You will own the product roadmap for onboarding and identity verification, working cross-functionally with product designers, engineers, data scientists, compliance, operations, and market teams across multiple geographies. Key responsibilities include:
• Developing and executing product strategy for customer identity verification, with a focus on reducing friction while maintaining security and regulatory compliance
• Driving product roadmaps with outcome and KPI-driven mindset, ensuring successful rollouts across N26's multi-market footprint
• Conducting discovery work to identify pain points and opportunities in the onboarding funnel, particularly around conversion and identity verification
• Partnering with external vendors and internal stakeholders to customize solutions and stay current with market trends
• Collaborating with business teams, other PMs, designers, and engineers to improve the onboarding experience across multiple verification options and markets
• Supporting new product launches and market expansion initiatives
You bring at least 5 years of product management experience, with proven expertise managing high-volume B2C onboarding funnels and conversion optimization. Experience in KYC or identity verification is strongly preferred. You must have worked in regulated environments (fintech, banking, insurance, payments) and have hands-on experience with vendor solutions, including driving feature requests and customizations.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills are essential—SQL familiarity is a plus. You're tech-aware, curious about emerging technologies, and have exceptional communication skills. You thrive in agile environments, understand product development deeply, and have an intrinsic drive to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs.
