Jerry.ai is a fintech platform that simplifies ownership of major assets—cars and homes—by consolidating insurance, repairs, financing, and maintenance into a single app. Founded in 2019, the company has grown to 5M+ customers, raised $240M+, and achieved profitability in early 2024. After establishing a dominant position in car insurance (top 3 US broker), Jerry is now expanding into new verticals including home insurance, motorcycle insurance, RV/boat insurance, and adjacent services like property tax savings tools.
You will join as a Senior Product Manager owning one of Jerry's key new product bets. The specific domain—home, motorcycle, boat, RV, or property tax tools—will be determined based on your background and business priorities at the time you join. This is a 0-to-1 opportunity: these products are new territory for the company with no established playbooks or prior PM precedent.
Your core responsibilities include: rapidly ramping on a new domain, synthesizing quantitative data from the Data Science team and qualitative insights from Customer Research, identifying highest-leverage priorities, building and shipping new products, gathering customer feedback, iterating based on learnings, and scaling what works. You will own the product roadmap and execution from early concept through launch to product-market fit and scaling.
The role demands comfort with complexity. Property tax rules vary by county; specialty vehicle insurance involves regulatory nuance absent from standard auto. These are not clean, well-scoped problems. You will have meaningful ownership and your work will materially impact the company's trajectory over the next few years.
Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in management consulting (MBB or equivalent), consumer-facing product management, or equivalent high-growth startup experience. You should be a first-principles thinker who uses data to develop hypotheses before jumping to solutions, an owner who acts like your name is on the door, empathetic and curious about customer behavior, and diligent in execution. Consumer product instincts—either from direct building or close collaboration with consumer teams—and comfort running your own data analysis are essential.
