Heidi Health is an AI-powered Care Partner that augments clinicians' work, from documentation to care delivery. Founded by clinicians and backed by ~$100M in funding, Heidi has returned 18+ million hours to clinicians and supported 73+ million patient visits across 116 countries. The company partners with major health systems including the NHS, Beth Israel Lahey Health, and Monash Health.
You will own the New Bets function—a zero-to-one product role tasked with creating the next wave of products. This is rare: most v1 products launch into silence, but yours will go directly in front of clinicians who already use Heidi daily and can provide feedback within days. You can ship on Tuesday, see a GP use it Thursday, and know the outcome by Friday.
You'll take problems from conviction to evidence: frame the problem, size the prize, prototype, test with real clinicians, and make the scale-or-kill decision. A small dedicated squad builds alongside you. You own the full scope—pilots, landing pages, positioning, pricing, launch—because there's no one else to hand it to.
You might already be a PM, a strategy consultant tired of recommending without owning outcomes, or an operations leader who's spent two years fixing product from the outside. The pattern matters more than the title: you build things, move fast, and thrive in ambiguity.
In the past 6 weeks, you'd have taken a thesis to a working prototype, built v0 yourself in Claude Code, spent half-days with three customer accounts, killed a bet you liked with an honest post-mortem, scoped a paid pilot with success metrics, and walked founders through a scale-or-kill recommendation.
You'll need 4+ years in product, strategy, operations, or founding teams. You must have proof you build: a product with real users, an internal tool still in use, a business, or a funded prototype. You're analytically strong—sizing markets, structuring ambiguous problems, building honest models. You define kill criteria before falling in love with ideas and act on them. Speed is a habit: weekly demos, bias to ship. You build with AI tools (Cursor, Claude Code) and can show what you've made. You're fluent with core LLM concepts (prompting, fine-tuning, embeddings, retrieval, evaluation) and can translate them into reliable, user-facing products. You have strong opinions, weakly held, and a romantic belief that great design transforms someone's day.
