Traba is building an AI operating layer for the light industrial supply chain, starting with contingent labor in manufacturing and logistics. The company connects workers to warehouses and distribution centers, embedding itself in customer operations through technology and proprietary shift data. Backed by Founders Fund, Khosla Ventures, and General Catalyst.
You will own the staffing product at the center of Traba's two-sided marketplace, balancing enterprise customers (distribution centers, manufacturing lines) and workers. Reporting to the VP of Product, you'll collaborate with software engineers, product designers, data analysts, operations, and field teams to design and ship practical solutions into industrial facilities.
Key responsibilities include: architecting product strategy across staffing and marketplace workflows; solving complex marketplace problems by balancing customer needs, operational realities, and business outcomes; writing detailed product requirements and partnering with engineering; building systems that improve marketplace liquidity, fulfillment, matching quality, and operational efficiency; using data to uncover patterns and answer critical questions; translating operational complexity into scalable product systems; designing internal tooling and technical solutions to scale operations; launching and iterating products across customers, regions, and environments; visualizing and communicating complex ideas; and socializing work across all levels and departments.
The ideal candidate is customer-obsessed, spending time on-site with both customers and workers. You are AI-native, having changed how you work because of AI—prototyping before specs, checking code into production, building internal agents for research. You have deep marketplace operator experience with two-sided platforms where supply/demand dynamics and operational complexity are real. You have enterprise B2B muscle, comfortable with complex customers, long sales cycles, and operational rollout challenges. You are a first-principles thinker who understands systems and constraints. You have built operational products or internal tools that powered real businesses. You have a builder mentality—inventive, scrappy, moving quickly, embracing ambiguity. You work seamlessly across product, design, engineering, data, operations, sales, customer teams, and leadership.
Requirements: 5–7 years of experience as a Product Manager; evidence of shipping products that materially moved business outcomes; strong experience in two-sided marketplaces with real supply and demand dynamics; experience building enterprise products with multi-stakeholder customers and complex operational environments; experience building internal operational tooling or systems that supported real business execution; strong technical fluency and ability to work deeply with engineering teams; experience operating in startup environments where speed and ownership matter; desire to work at a startup and cover an exceptionally wide surface area; strong work ethic and desire to build a category-defining company.
