Traba is building an AI operating layer for the light industrial supply chain, starting with contingent labor in manufacturing and logistics. The company matches and deploys workers into warehouses and distribution centers, and is now expanding into broader operational workflows. Backed by Founders Fund, Khosla Ventures, and General Catalyst.
You will own the staffing product at the center of Traba's marketplace, balancing the needs of enterprise customers (distribution centers, manufacturing facilities) and workers. You'll report directly to the VP of Product and collaborate with software engineers, product designers, data analysts, operations teams, and field teams to design and ship practical solutions into industrial facilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Architect and steward product strategy across critical staffing and marketplace workflows
- Solve complex marketplace problems by balancing customer needs, operational realities, and business outcomes
- Write detailed product requirements and partner closely with engineering to execute
- Build systems that improve marketplace liquidity, fulfillment, matching quality, and operational efficiency
- Use data to uncover patterns and answer critical marketplace questions
- Translate operational complexity into scalable product systems
- Scale operations by designing internal tooling and technical solutions
- Launch and iterate products across customers, regions, and operational environments
- Communicate complex ideas across systems, workflows, operational models, and strategy
- Socialize work across all levels and departments while synthesizing stakeholder feedback
The ideal candidate is customer-obsessed, spending time on-site with both customers and workers. You are AI-native in how you operate (prototyping, building internal agents, checking code), not just adding AI to your stack. You have deep marketplace experience building two-sided platforms where supply/demand dynamics and operational complexity are real. You've built enterprise B2B products for complex customers with multiple stakeholders and long sales cycles. You think from first principles, understand systems and constraints deeply, and have built operational products or internal tools that powered real businesses. You move quickly, embrace ambiguity, and work seamlessly across product, design, engineering, data, operations, sales, and leadership.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5–7 years of experience as a Product Manager
- Evidence of shipping products that materially moved business outcomes
- Strong experience in two-sided marketplaces with real supply and demand dynamics
- Experience building enterprise products with multi-stakeholder customers and complex operational environments
- Experience building internal operational tooling or systems that supported real business execution
- Strong technical fluency and ability to work deeply with engineering teams
- Experience operating in startup environments where speed and ownership matter
- Desire to work at a startup and cover an exceptionally wide surface area
- Strong work ethic and desire to build a category-defining company
