Wrapbook is an AI-powered production finance platform trusted by Netflix, Paramount, and other major studios. The company is backed by Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, and WndrCo, with 350+ employees.
You will own the Vendor Spend product domain—the vendor-payment layer that handles how production companies pay their vendors across all payment methods, workflows, tracking, and reporting. This is a high-leverage role with direct impact on cash flow, fraud/AML exposure, tax reporting, and the general ledger. You'll work at the intersection of banking, accounting, and go-to-market, partnering with a tenured engineering team and experienced designer.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the roadmap and vision for Vendor Spend, aligning customer needs and business priorities into a clear, sequenced plan with defined success metrics (adoption, cost and fraud reduction, revenue signals).
- Expand and streamline payment methods (ACH, checks, direct-to-bank processing, card payments, international) to reduce time-to-payment and push toward straight-through processing.
- Lead the expense-management 0→1 opportunity: Wrapbook-issued spend/purchasing cards and virtual AP cards for invoice payments, including issuance, controls, and accounting integration.
- Advocate for accuracy, compliance, and fraud protection—positive pay, check-fraud prevention, ACH transaction screening, AML controls, and vendor tax reporting (1099).
- Partner with the banking infrastructure team on payment rails, defining clear service boundaries.
- Ensure vendor payments reconcile correctly in the ledger, working with Accounting.
- Triage competing demands from product teams, Client Operations, Sales, Finance, Risk, Legal, and Support.
- Use AI tools daily to accelerate discovery, analysis, writing, code comprehension, and prototyping.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of product management experience in SaaS, fintech, or similarly complex technical environments.
- Proven track record of measurable outcomes (adoption, market/segment access, cost/fraud reduction, revenue) with clear explanation of your contribution.
- Domain proximity to money movement: background in accounts payable, vendor/B2B payments, card issuance, or accounting strongly preferred.
- Technical orientation: ability to reason with engineering about systems, data models, integrations, fund flows, and failure modes.
- Active, daily AI usage in PM workflow (LLMs, AI-assisted coding tools, AI workflows as core parts of shipping).
- Experience owning products with high cross-functional surface area and stakeholder dependencies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with bias toward action, balanced against compliance and quality requirements.
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to become a subject-matter expert in unfamiliar, technically complex domains.
- Excellent written and verbal communication—clear, structured, decision-oriented writing.
- Data self-sufficiency: independently pull and interpret data using SQL, Pendo, Omni, Snowflake, or similar tools.
- Growth mindset and deep empathy for customers and operators.
Extra points for:
- Hands-on AP/vendor payments, B2B money movement, or card issuance experience, including payment rails (ACH/NACHA, checks, positive pay, direct-to-bank, processor integrations like Stripe).
- 0→1 experience standing up new payments or card capabilities under ambiguity.
- Risk & compliance background (fraud/AML controls, transaction screening, tax reporting).
- Scale-up experience at high-growth SaaS companies.
