GitLab is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Growth to own the self-serve product journey end-to-end, from initial visitor interaction through trial, activation, and paid conversion. You will consolidate acquisition, activation, and monetization into a single connected experience, leveraging experimentation and product data to compound growth across the full funnel.
Key responsibilities include owning the self-serve journey spanning signup, trial, activation, and monetization; using product usage and event data to identify high-impact growth opportunities and running continuous test-and-learn cadences; partnering with Engineering, Design, and Data teams to scope, sequence, and ship experiments; defining success metrics and connecting roadmap decisions to customer and revenue outcomes; and operating with a small autonomous team to own your roadmap and its outcomes.
Required qualifications: product management experience ideally owning a self-serve or product-led growth funnel end-to-end; strong technical understanding of how software is built, packaged, deployed, and operated; strong analytical skills with SQL proficiency and hypothesis-driven approach; well-versed in experimentation and A/B testing with track record of shipping frequent measurable improvements; comfortable working with production usage and event data; highly independent and pragmatic with strong bias for action; excellent written and spoken English and comfort with async distributed work.
Preferred qualifications include experience with growth frameworks (acquisition loops, activation loops, product-qualified leads), prior experience at product-led growth companies, familiarity with GitLab/Git workflows, experience building developer tools or DevOps products, and B2B customer engagement experience.
