Airwallex is a unified payments and financial platform serving over 250,000 global businesses including Brex, Navan, Qantas, and SHEIN. The company combines proprietary infrastructure with software to deliver integrated solutions for business accounts, payments, spend management, treasury, and embedded finance at scale. Valued at $11 billion and backed by leading investors including Sequoia, Visa, and Mastercard, Airwallex operates across 27 offices globally with over 2,300 employees. You will join the financial markets product team, leading high-impact projects from ideation through launch. This newly expanded customer-facing FX product platform represents a first for Airwallex. Your core responsibilities include leading development of critical financial markets infrastructure and capabilities for both internal corporate needs and customer-facing product teams. This encompasses price construction and distribution across all channels, market risk management, position keeping, and liquidity management interfaces. You will work closely with the Treasury functional team to deliver capabilities that optimize liquidity, efficiently manage risks, and provide adequate reporting and controls. You'll collaborate across product domains to build solutions enabling teams to access critical financial services with minimal intervention. You'll define and lead the product strategy for FX features, including customer experience design, business architecture, and pricing/execution models. The role requires strong product management fundamentals: experience building products from 0-1, customer-centric thinking, and ability to deliver capabilities to market. You should excel at structuring complex problems, communicating product strategy to both technical and non-technical audiences, and driving decisions with data and first-principles thinking. The ideal candidate brings experience in FX or financial markets, though this is not required. You thrive in cross-cultural, cross-functional environments and balance user requirements with commercial strategy to drive meaningful product growth.
