Skydio is the leading US autonomous drone company, serving defense, public safety, enterprise, and critical infrastructure customers. This Senior Product Manager role owns the strategic vision and execution of Fleet Management and Internal Tooling across the Skydio Cloud platform.
You will lead both customer-facing fleet management software that powers drone operations and internal systems that enable exceptional customer experiences. The scope spans device inventory and health, pilot and organization administration, troubleshooting, support, service, and repair workflows. A key focus is defining the end-to-end dock service experience—from issue detection and remote diagnosis through dispatch, parts, repair, verification, and closure—with emphasis on reducing mean time to repair and repeat visits.
Responsibilities include owning and evolving the roadmap, driving feature definition and prioritization in collaboration with design, engineering, and go-to-market teams, prototyping and validating intuitive workflows, and engaging with customers and prospects to understand core business problems. You will communicate plans and progress across stakeholders, follow through to launch and adoption, and collaborate with marketing, support, and customer success on impactful releases.
Required qualifications: 6+ years defining and delivering market-leading software products, including experience with fleet, logistics, mobility, or operationally complex environments. You need strong UX collaboration experience, an AI-forward mindset, familiarity with data modeling and API-driven architectures, and technical fluency across autonomy, firmware, and cloud engineering. Deep curiosity and empathy for users managing real-world operational complexity is essential, as is willingness to travel to customer sites. FAA Part 107 certification is required within the first 60 days.
Bonus experience includes drones, autonomous systems, robotics, industrial IoT, fleet management systems, field-service platforms, or work serving public safety and defense customers.
