Acorns is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the strategy and roadmap for the company's family investing products—a new category designed to introduce children and teens to investing before adulthood. You will drive how families discover, adopt, and build lasting habits with Acorns' offerings, working across parents, teens, and kids to make earning, investing, and wealth-building feel natural from an early age.
In this role, you'll own end-to-end product strategy from first customer exposure through habit formation. You'll create consumer experiences from first principles, designing tools that introduce millions of children to investing. You'll partner closely with Design and Engineering to build products customers genuinely love, using research, customer insight, and data to uncover unmet needs and shape product direction.
You'll balance long-term vision with rapid experimentation, making smart tradeoffs and leading cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional experiences with speed and quality. You'll champion Acorns' mission in every product decision, ensuring the company acts as a missionary for customers' financial well-being. You'll design strategies that deeply align business and customer incentives, prioritizing sustainable, long-term value.
You bring 8+ years of product management experience building exceptional consumer products, with a track record leading zero-to-one or highly ambiguous initiatives. You have strong product intuition, analytical rigor, and deep customer empathy. You're comfortable with ambiguity and driven by behavior-focused thinking. Experience with onboarding, activation, consumer growth, marketplaces, creator tools, social products, or network effects is a bonus. Fintech experience is not required; the company prefers someone who has built extraordinary consumer products over someone with only financial product experience. Fluency with AI tools and experience shaping AI-powered features is also valued but not required.
Acorns is a remote-first organization with optional office access in Irvine, CA. The company has helped over 14 million people save and invest over $27 billion since 2014, and was named one of Time's "World's Best Brands of 2024."
