Blockstream is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the Enterprise product team, which delivers a Bitcoin-focused software suite enabling banks, prime brokers, and corporations to custody Bitcoin and manage tokenization and treasury operations.
You will split your time between technical product management (70%) and discovery & research (30%). On the technical side, you'll translate the product vision into an actionable roadmap, own the product narrative, and communicate across all organizational levels. You'll engage deeply with engineering teams on technical decisions, ensure alignment between engineering work and product goals, lead project execution by anticipating roadblocks and coordinating teammates, and identify product opportunities that translate into clear milestones aligned with business objectives.
For discovery and research, you'll support continuous discovery practices, conduct market and customer research, monitor regulatory and market news, and identify emerging trends. You'll run customer discovery workshops, document findings, and translate insights into product signals and roadmap gaps. You'll drive product requirements and documentation while collaborating with engineering, design, business, and marketing teams. You'll gather both qualitative and quantitative data to validate or challenge product assumptions and feature requests.
The ideal candidate has 7+ years of product management experience in regulated environments with a proven track record of delivering impact. You must understand blockchain technology, crypto custody best practices, and the tokenization lifecycle. Exceptional communication skills are essential—you'll need to convey complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences. You should be comfortable with startup pace, scrappiness, and dynamic environments. You must currently reside in Zurich and have excellent English communication skills.
Nice-to-have qualifications include prior Bitcoin product experience, familiarity with enterprise crypto products adopted by traditional finance firms, deep knowledge of traditional financial systems and products, understanding of major cash-generating units in global money center banks (commercial banking, investment banking, prime brokerage, asset management), knowledge of Liquid and its role in the Bitcoin ecosystem, and fluency in Russian or Ukrainian.
