Dutch Vet is a venture-backed veterinary telemedicine platform transforming pet care by enabling licensed vets to diagnose, prescribe, and ship medications directly to customers. The company has raised funding from top-tier investors including Forerunner Ventures, Eclipse Ventures, and Bling Capital, and is led by founders from successful startups (Hims, PlushCare, Nasty Gal) and scaled enterprises (TripAdvisor, Walmart, BARK).
You will own and grow Dutch's e-commerce business, which spans both prescription and non-prescription pet products. This is a broad-scope senior role where you will set strategy, identify high-value opportunities, and drive execution across the organization. You will have significant autonomy to shape the direction and scale of this business unit.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining e-commerce strategy and identifying market gaps and opportunities
- Leading a complete reimagination of the product storefront (greenfield project)
- Collaborating closely with design, engineering, and product teams to deliver on strategic initiatives
- Leveraging Dutch's proprietary data advantage—its EMR system and vet-issued recommendations—to build a personalization engine that no traditional pet retailer can match
- Working with the AI team to translate data insights into highly relevant, high-converting product and prescription recommendations
- Driving commercial outcomes and conversion optimization
